Because there is not evidence to support the claim that there is a god. And because logically you can not have an all-powerful, all knowing, all loving god. It's a contradiction of terms.

I can no more believe in god then I can believe in Santa Claus.

no because religion is corrupt , even in middle ages religion was a form of power even higher than kings its always been corrupt. then evolution totally cancels out adam and eve . everything in the bible sounds like a fairty tale thats stupid. ppl back then thought the world was flat how are you gonna belive what they did. the greeks believed in there gods just like catholics do now its just now we have facts to disprove there gods but ppl dont understand that their god can be disproved yet. im not atheist im agnostic .

because no one has presented hard evidence that god exists so yes, logic would have something to do with it.

babyk, how do you know that the holy bible was not written by a lonely monk sitting on a mountaintop somewhere, and added to by "servants of god" throughout the ages? do you have proof that is was written by ...god?

Because there is no solid proof for the existance of any god figure.

And anyone saying the Bible is proof may as well believe in Frodo, Gandalf etc

No, it has nothing to do with logic. It's because there's no evidence for the existence of a god.

I believe in him as much as I don't.

I just never had that feeling that so many religious people describe. I think it would be easier to be a believer, but if you're not one, you just can't convince yourself or god that you are.

I believe in him. You are not alone. Oh and for Gazoo not to be mean but the evidence that there is God is the Holy Bible.
