Use it in what? Do you mean in an essay or something? Use it in any context where usually this person would be at a disadvantage but some special circumstances have transpired so that she or he is actually at an advantage. For example - a man lives in poverty on the streets. Some rich person's daughter has been kidnapped and the only way to find out who has done it is to keep an ear to the ground and try to learn from gossip on the street but the rich person wouldn't be able to do this very well. They would stand out to much, nobody would tell them anything and they wouldn't know where to look anyway. So, they hire the homeless man as he would be perfect for the job, he knows the district and goes unnoticed. He is therefore at an advantage because of his disadvantage.

In a town where everyone walks everywhere except for one man. This man has his own car. He can decide where he will drive to and who he wishes to go along with him. In a sense, he is the king, because no one else has a car.

It always has to be a comparison of the advantaged to the disadvantaged, the haves and the have-nots!??
What of a simple example: Four friends are in Mexico and only one of them took Spanish in school. He would be "the man with one eye" in a land of "the blind".(his other three friends)

Do you live in the woods? How will society advance--to say nothing of being protected--without a strong state paid for by taxes? Also, define "non-essential use taxes". That sounds like government double talk.
