You will know that a friend is a friend when they begin to sound more like your mother or sister, because then you will know that they love you and only want the best for you. A friend that passes your life as do clothes and fads will always let you do what ever it is your doing, since they are there more for convenience.. A true friend tries to foresee the harm that lies ahead, A true friend will risk losing you if it means saving you.. Look at your right hand and when you count your true friends at the end of your life story you will see that you have fingers to spear. True friends are rare so don't shake off a friend that echos your mother concerns, it only means they love you.

time'll tell for sure. but real friends always stick up for u no matter what; they compliment u wen u do good; they stay w/u wen ur feelin bad and help cheer u up

They like to hang out with you or are willing to hang out and do stuff if you ask. They don't just talk to you when they need something, but they talk with you because they enjoy doing so.
