Maybe hes just not comfortable with the relationship yet. It all depends on how long you hav been going out...If it is just a recent relationship..hes probably just uncomfortable. Ask him if he thinks you are pretty, and hug him anyway and see how he reacts

maybe hes just shy and doesn't want you to think badly of him. Do you ever call him handsome, or stud or anything like that? as for hugging, maybe hes just not ready to have everyone see that hes in a relationship. If its meant to be, he'll soften up.

maybe he's just shy so give him some time. but if he keeps this up for a while, maybe it's time that u 2 sit down and talk bout ur problems... u wouldnt wanna drag a bad relationship on forever

Does he have to tell you you are pretty every second? It is not a necassary. The hug thing would make me mad too. Just ask him why not.

cant explain the "pretty" situation, but i wouldnt like someone to pressure me into hugging my girlfriend (even though i enjoy it) it would start to get annoying and i would start to only do it to humor them, so he just doesnt like being pressured, or anouther way to look at it is hes probably controlling, and doesnt like people telling him wat to do, i would worry about it, as its a small thing and you have so many other big things you should worry about in life, Good luck to you two
