I say make your feelings clear for this guy so he knows you want and like him but ask him if you's can take things slowly and after awhile you's can take things to the next level and start going out.
Dont try to get with him too soon b/c then your ex might think that through the time you's were dating you had your eye on him and thats a factor that contributed to yous breaking up.
Try and establish a relationship with this guy.. build up your friendship.. communicate and get to know each other so that you's can build up a deeper relationship and then start to date a while after.
This way it wont look as though you wanted him while you were with you ex. It will seem more like you developed these feelings after you broke up with you ex.
I hope this made sense

Wait until you feel absolutely sure that the guy you just broke up with is over you and then go for the guy. You could approach the new guy and be honest with him about the situation and see what he says. He can either say he likes you to and wants to give it a try or he is going to act like a butt head because your ex has spoken to him about you. After speaking with the new hunk make the call from your instincts.

Well, you should start out slow, because honestly, its not going to be you the ex wants to kill, but the new guy. Start hanging out with this new guy and accustom the old guy to the fact that you're moving on now. This will make the transaction less painful for everything

honestly if u really like this guy and he feels the same way go for it. If there not close, u can always keep your relationship on the DL at least for a couple of months untill ur ex bf has cooled off and it doesne't seem like u used him 4 that guy.

i think you should stay away, you are just infatuated and it will pass. I mean if you do make a move but then your Ex gets in the way because he is upset the "new hunk" may not want to be involved in such drama.
i would honestly let go

I'd say go for it, especially since they're not really good friends. The only catch is that you have to be open & honest about the situation with BOTH of them. No mind games, no stupid stuff, that just might backfire on you.

i understand. If the guy hit the female first that's undesirable, beat his butt. If the female hit the guy first....eh. It quite does all stem decrease back to the full adult males being bigger, better, harder, besides the fact that. yet. If human beings did no longer observe yet, seems are very deceiving. the female could be a ninja murderer for god's sake and attempting to slice the undesirable guy in a million/2 yet absolutely everyone seems to be like...do no longer hit her!!! i'm quite sorry with regard to the double time-honored fellas, i in my view am.i did no longer lead them to. i'm a female too and regrettably fought some boys earlier. i'm no longer happy with it in any respect via fact they weren't speedy in any respect. They hit tricky. definite. yet they weren't able to snatch me. in addition they began it, I never start up something with absolutely everyone and experience such as you ought to look after your self against absolutely everyone keen to violate your own area.OR get some buddies of the comparable gender as your attacker and function them kick their butt for you. that's what I did while different incidents like that occurred. you do no longer ought to droop to their point the two.

Umm . . . the real answer is stop selling yourself to guys. They don't deserve your hots for them if your not serious, which it doesn't sound like you are. And it doesn't matter what your ex thinks, as long as you like the guy, but ONLY if you're serious. Don't let yourself be so man-hungry!

Well Im not a chick, but heres what you do. Just make it inconvenient for him to be around you and whatever. I dunno make up reasons why you cant show up for whatever it is he wants to do. Then when ya'll do get together have him meet you to do all the boring responsible stuff like going shopping or talking about your feelings. Oh and use this like "I just wanna get together and bake brownies and talk, you know really talk about our feelings".
