Kraft sells cheese powder separately in a little canister. I often shake a bit of extra cheese powder in there for an extra cheesy taste. Or, I'll melt a little Velvetta in the microwave and stir some milk in to make it creamy, then pour that over the mac & cheese. If I want a little kick, I'll stir in some salsa or Rotel.

Sometimes I put in sliced cooked hot dogs.
Sometimes I put in about a 1/2 lb. of hamburger that has been browned in a skillet with a little bit of ketchup and mix it into the mac & cheese.

Both are a lot yummier than having just plain mac & cheese.

Make it according to the directions...Then add 1/2 can of cream of chicken soup ( I like Campbell's). Just stir it right in after you've got your mac & cheese made...makes it a little thicker & creamier and it taste really good too!!

I make mine with frozen mixed veggies and sliced hot dogs thrown in with the boiling water. I also like to use cheese wiz instead of butter while following the box directions to make the sauce.

Excellent with Heinz Chili Sauce instead of ketchup!!

I make it as per the box instructions, but use half and half instead of milk, and then add 2 slices of torn up American cheese slices to make it extra cheesy. Then sprinkle it with pepper.

Well when I want it "pure" I make it according to the package directions.

I have a couple variations I use to doctor it up
Tuna version - throw in a can of tuna (drained), a can of peas (drained), a can of cream of mushroom soup and a little extra milk
Tomato/hamburger version - 1 lb of hamburger (browned), a can of corn (drained), a can of tomato soup and a little extra milk
Mushroom/hamburger version - 1 lb of hamburger (browned), a can of mushroom stems and pieces (drained), a can of cream of mushroom soup, a little extra milk. And sometimes depending on my mood I will throw in a can of peas or corn (drained) with this as well.

I cook the macaroni long then the directions on the box. The longer you cook the noodles the larger they will get and softer.

Follow the instructions on the box to make the best stuff on earth. No reason to add anything else.
