I have to do a stupid paper on the advantages and disadvantages...and i just want to say i hate all diets..but i cant, i have to do actual research...help..please?!

one disadvantage is that during the induction phase you really crave carbs and also you can feel like you have the flu.
One advantage is that you loose weight fast and have alot of energy once you get thru the first two weeks.

The advantage is you lose a lot of weight in the first two weeks.

The disadvantages are that the weight is all water, so you are simply dehydrating yourself. Combine that with constipation, bloating, liver problems, higher cholesterol, clogged arteries, the effects of chemicals and hydrogenated fats, and a very unhealthy ketonic state, and Adkins is a complete waste of time.
