I have a guy friend that I admit I have feelings for. I know he has some kind of feelings for me, though I'm not sure what his motives are (meaning I don't know if he just wants to hook up or if he wants more.) We also work together which is how we met. I offered to help him out with some of his stuff and he got lazy, not turning in things he should. A couple months ago we spent the night together, though nothing major happened. There's always been some tension between us and i think we both knew it was only a matter of time before something happened. Anyway, he didn't call me for awhile after that night and I tried calling him to tell him to get his work done or he was going to lose money. He didn't respond back so I left him alone. I also didn't take any major pains to keep him from losing the money because I don't want to lose my job. He ended up losing quite a bit of money. He wouldn't say he's mad at me but I think he really is. Did i do the right thing? Did I ruin my chances?

Also, before he found out that he'd lost the money he was flirting with me and acting like nothing had changed between the last time we had talked. Now he acts all mopey around me.

Yeah you did the right thing just I would quit doing is job for him. He needs to grow uo and take care of himself. It sounds like he just wants someone to do his work for him.

Sweetie, you are not this man's mother. He needs to worry about whatever money he lost at the job himself. He is an adult and is suppose to be responsible for his own work.
Honestly, if I were you I'd reaccess my attraction for this guy. First he acts lazy and irresponsible at work then he gets mad at you as if it's your fault he lost this money.

Forget about the romance, his behavior in the office should tell you all you need to know about his character.

You did the right thing, but hes confused and he obviously didnt notice what you were trying to do. And you probably didn't ruin your chances, since he's mad, it just means he didnt pay much attention to you.

He sounds like a loser. Stop sleeping in beds with men you're not in a relationship with and stop telling him how to manage his career. Move on- he's not worth it.
