It's not the type of grill you use, it is what cut of meat(Rib eye is my favorite) you use and how you cook it. If you know how to season(garlic salt and pepper and Italian seasoning) it and how long to cook it(Medium well, about 14 minutes giving it a quarter turn half way to create nice grill marks on the Foreman grill and set aside after the 14 minutes to rest 6 minutes before cutting into it) the Foreman grill do just fine.

I would imagine that the cut of steak and the thickness of the individual steak will affect the result that you get.
Personaly, I don't feel that an electric grill gets hot enough to sear a steak properly.
If I couldn't use a gas or charcoal grill, I'd sear that bad boy in an iron skillet. If it was very thick, I'd finish it in the oven after searing on top of the stove.

They do actually! Just keep the lid open and flip the steak to cook the other side. I like to make a maridade and let them sit in the marinade overnite before I grill them on the foreman! Just mix some soy sauce with some spices, whatever you like. I usually mix some fish oil and sesame oil in with soy sauce, then for spices I use garlic, pepper, celery salt, onion powder and McCormick Steak seasoning. It turns out great! My son craves it alot and won't eat the steak unless it has my special marinade on it.

I love my George Forman Grill, I use it for allots of things besides meat. I cook grill cheese sandwiches, vegetables, onions, etc.
I always marinate my steaks in fruit juice or fruit nectar to give them a little extra flavor. When I cook hamburgers I do not marinate them.

yes, very good because the foreman grill burns the fat off of the patty, and less grease will be in the burger, providing a burger lesser than fat than most, and the delicate flavor of blubber sandwhiches if you like fat!

No, because they don't brown like they do on a real grill or the stove top.
