Is the Dove a peaceful bird?

Not really. They live a life just like any other bird... they struggle to survive, chase off other birds that are taking their food, they peck if they're in captivity, etc. They're peaceful when just sitting around, though, just like a morning dove.

The dove is a symbol for peace. And when I see doves, they are quiet, timid birds. I think they pair for life (two birds stay together).
