I have found that the Similisan Earache drops help open up a plugged up ear. You can get them in the pharmacy section at any store.

That's happened to me a few times, also to my dad. It turns out the best thing for your husband is to pop over to your nearby clinic and have the nurse or doc flush his ear canal with warm water. They use a simple squirter. It takes almost no time at all, doesn't hurt in the slightest. And it's MUCH safer than poking anything into your ear, trust me.

It depends......is it from wax build-up....or from an inner-ear infection ? Wax will drain out if you soften it .....Warm water , wax removal solution , 50/50 hydrogen peroxide warm water mix , the list goes on and on. Infections should be treated with antibiotics. NEVER put ANYTHING inside your ear...except whispers !!!

Sudafed (the Sudafed you have to buy from the pharmist not over the counter - you don't need a prescription).
