Best way to store celery..... Wrap celery in several layers of damp paper towels and store it in the crisper section of the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Keep celery away from the coldest parts of the refrigerator-the back and side walls-because it freezes easily and then becomes limp and unusable.

Good luck!_;-)

Get a jar, cut the celery into pieces the height of the jar, stick them in, fill with water and store in the fridge. Remember to exchange the water every other day. It will keep for about a week and longer. And since there are not that many nutrients in the celery it doesn't matter if they're kept in water.

Wrap it in foil. Works great. Then if you have it too long still, Cut the ends off so the celery can "drink" & put the reamins in a glass with water. This will revive limp celery.

Yes you can, make sure that you place it in a air tight container. Wash the celery, separate the stems, wash in cold water. Let the stems dry, and then place them in a zip lock bag or air tight container.

If you just leave the stalk stay whole in the refrigerator it will get limp.

I saw on Oprah a similar situation with lettuce. If you put them in a storage container layered with wet paper towels, it helps to maintain the freshness and keep them from turning brown from air exposure. Or like they do in Publix, put them in a sealef container packed tightly with water. This also works. Hope this info works...and good luck with your healthy eating. PROPS FOR THAT!
