No I'm white. I have many Asian and Hispanic friends, and think that Asian and Hispanic women are the beautiful women in the world.

There are a number of reasons why California has been so successful economically.

1) because of it location and large population, which established areas like Hollywood and Disneyland. This established the world's best places for entertainment and this made it a haven for tourists.

2) Being in the USA has also made it rich.

Immigrants will not hurt the economy in anyway, in fact they usually build it up dramatically. However, to many people, the economy is not the only important thing. In fact it can mean little to the individual.

For example, immigrants are far more ready to work for less and therefore are attractive to employers. They are said to 'steal' jobs.

Also because they tend to be poor and in a state of poverty they may turn to crime to help them live.

Many people also blame them for taking up too much benefits that should be going to the locals, as the locals are the ones who have been paying towards it all their lives.

And because they may now have a better standard of living, their friends and family come too and you have a vicious circle developing.

These tend to be the reasons given against immigration, but personally I think the benefits outweigh the costs both socially and economically.

Doo-doo-doo. Look what people live in california. California is like a communist country: there are the rich, and the poor. No middle. All the big companies are in California for some reason or the other. Plus people have to be rich in order to be able to afford to live there. It costs $80,000 in mississippi for the same house that is $700,000 in California. Stop spinning your statements, you have no Idea what you are talking about.

I'm sure if all the poor states that are full of dumb-*** white people had all the idustry, and a dollar there couldn't buy you a gumball, like in CA, that would be the richest state.

Did you know California in the Dumbest state. Look at the ammount of Highschool dropouts. Look at the standardized test scores...

Are you misleading or ignorant? CA is the richest state in INCOME! and only because it is the most populated state. The richest per capita in income is CT or NJ.

Get this: CA has a FIVE BILLION state debt! That debt comes, in part, from prisons full of illegals, schools filled with them whose parents do not always pay taxes, and welfare to them.

Remember the Orange county fiscal meltdown? Probably not.

Just try to get this through your head: $5 billion debt

illegals are not really hurting the economy of California. First they pick the food we eat. Next, they do work that we won't. They do not vote. they at times work for less than min. wage. There is constant complaining that they put pressure on our welfare system by getting free medical care under the Medi-Cal system. I think that the illegals should get vaccinations and treatment for disease as to not spread it to the rest of us.
i have yet to see white Americans struggling by working at the car wash or out in the strawberry fields competing for jobs.

CA has population, which would ensure a certain economic cachet. Places like South Dakota don't. But I hear you. I have no problems with immigrants. Hell, if I don't have any problem with neighbors who voted for W, why would I have a problem with any member of the human race?

Excellent point. Immigrants (including illegals) are the backbone of our economy.

You must be an illegal alien if you are trying to justify other illegals taking away American jobs. Go back where you came from!
