this man will never know me or how i feel, but i'm totally besoted with him, also i'm the kind of person who does not like to give up on love, no matter how hopeless it seems. what do you think i should do? please help!

Get a hobbie.
It seems you're fixated on hopelessness. I am assuming you're the type of person that thinks it's safe to love from a distance and having the knowledge that it's never going to work out.
If you're not ready to be in love and work on a realistic relationship with someone, seriously consider getting a hobbie or join a club that has frequent meetings. Try to get fixated on things that are more fulfulling than a doomed imaginary love affair.

I think you answered this dilema yourself in your statement! You said that you are in love with him and you don't like to give up on love! So, go for it! Tell the guy you love him. The worst that could happen is that he will tell you he dosn't feel the same way and you two won't be together. You are not with him right now so what do you have to lose? If you truly love him than tell him so you can love him the way you know you can. I bet he feels the same way! Good luck! Being in love is wonderful and once you reveal your true feelings you are going to feel so great!

Well, why can't he ever know? Is he already taken or are you too shy to tell him? Believe me, I've been in both situations. In the first instance you do just move on. You don't have to 'give up' but eventually you will find someone else to obsess about. In the latter, I'm not so sure, try to gauge how he feels about you, if you know he might liek you too it may be easier to say something to him.

I have the same problem although it's not at the fore front of my mind all the time as I don't see him anymore. but i fell in love at school and I never got to go out with him and because of that he never broke my heart so I have this rosie view of him and no man measures up to him.....If you can you need to tell him as then you will either get to be with him or you can start to move on if he isn't interested... good luck hun

I think we need a bit more info. Why can he never know how you feel? Why can he never even know you? If this is honestly the case then move on for heaven sake there are more men in the world and given time you will find one.

I'd say you should move on. If he will, without a shadow of doubt, never know you or meet you forget about him. There are plenty fish in the sea. But if there is a chance the two of you will meet try to get to know him b/c he might be crazy or something.

sounds like you maybe too shy or scared to tell him for fear of rejection but you need to know if he feels the sounds and once you know that, then you can move on to the next stage. if he does not want to know, then you will have to cope and it will be painful but at least you know and then you can move on and forget him in time, a long time. if you are too shy then why not write a letter or simply ask him out for coffee and a friendly chat.

Sounds like you have a crush. Have you acted on it?? Does he know you exist?? Never give away your intentions very early-go slow. Say hi to him. Find out if he is what you think he is. You might find out that he isn't and that will save you a lot of emotional grief.

I would honestly say tell him. If he doesn't know how you feel then there's still an opportunity for the two of you to be happy together.
