If you live near a Caribou Coffee, than I would definitely recommend that over Starbuck's. In fact, I would recommend anything over Starbuck's. They use a lower grade coffee bean than other coffee shops do. Oh yeah, and they use more flavored syrups to cover up the taste of their bitter coffee.

I am with tumbleweed, I think Mcdonalds actually has really good coffee. If I go to starbucks I usually get the really sweet flavored coffees because I think starbucks coffee is way too strong. Also, wawa has some pretty good coffee. If you buy at the store, I like Maxwell House smooth blend, it is really good.

your kitchen my dear. get a french press, invest in a sampler pack of some nice coffee beans and a grinder and you will be the best self richeous barista in the world. I got a french press and outside coffee houses will never see the likes of me again!! if you are out and about or making somoenes aquaintence, i recomend a local coffee house over a corporate one. Starbucks is great coffee dont get me wrong, but there is a certain amount of love that goes into a local baristas roast that you cant put a price tag on.

I love Einstain brother's bagel (sorry for the spelling) for their vanilla hazel nut's coffee. it is so so so so so good but it has caffine. I still love it. (just dont' go right before it close, the coffee always kind of old every time I go before their closing time) go in the moring.
also the Donkin donut (sorry again for the spelling) I like their coffee too. I am not too expert on this. hope it helps.
I never know how to pick a startbucks coffee. it always to me, I pick the wrong one and taste bad. so I give up going there.
