My friends mother gave me some Salsa to have, I opened it last week and it's been sitting in my cupboard, was I suppose to refridgerate it after opening it? Is it safe to eat after a week?

Of course you're suppose to refrigerate the salsa...besides it says it on the bottle...and also its very unsafe to eat it after wards because u may get bacteria and etc...

Give it the 'man test'. Smell it, if it passes that you then taste a small amount. But to answer your question you should refrigerate an open bottle.

Yes it should have been refrigerated. Don't even open it to check, just throw it away.
