Hopefully you are already under medical care with someone who can help you manage medication and behavioral therapy.

Check with your university... many have support offices for students with disabilities (ocd would count). You may be able to have accomodations for exams like not taking them in the same big room as everyone else. If for some reason you had to miss school because of hospilization or something the special services office canhelp so you dont automatically fail classes. Tutoring may be available for some things.

Dont pressure yourself to take a full load of classes if you think it will cause your symptoms to get worse. It would be better to spend an extra year in college than have to drop out because of your illness.

Most importantly - report any changes to your doctor. college life can be stressful in general and it will be a big change from what you are used to.... all of which can change how your body copes with your symptoms and even processes medication.

hang in there and good luck!

I remind myself that my mental illness will make my future harder so if I don't keep up with my studies I know that I won't have a future. I guess the only good thing about my OCD is that I really focus it on my future. I obsess over my future. You can't cure your OCD but you can try and coerce it into focusing on your studies. It won't be easy, but what can ya do.

Mental disorders often terminate studies . You might consider taking a journey till you have passed over to the other side. Most change over when younger and often don't care about studies either. There is an old book called The Games People Play. It should get you started being suspicious.
