Last I heard,the port authorities asked if there was anyone in truck with him,he said no,they did their routine search and found two other people.One is lebonese and the other was Iraqi,U.S. citizens but one had a warrant.Also they did not know what they were hauling in the trailer,which is strange.All drivers know what they are hauling.Thanks for any info.

Really I heard there were 3 men,thanks for the update.Its protocol now to have the trucks searched at ports,I know I am a driver and you dont lie to the port authorities and he didnt have a manifest so..,its just strange.Thanks.

Driver from Michigan. Brought his brother and a friend along for the ride. Hauling auto parts, electrical harness stuff. It was on the manifest that way too. Some security guard panicked and got the world involved. Apparently the crime was not having a "pass" to get into the port freight area. Thats tax money well spent. All those government workers probably drawing overtime pay for today too.

Well in the muslim world they cut your hand off for stealing, maybe since he lied that would be a terrible thing for Alah or even the ten commandments, maybe we should just forgive him, or we could turn it over to the Iraqi's and maybe they would hang him on tv, but we will probably feed him 3 times a day and give him cable tv, and a good place to lay his head at the expense of the US tax payers
