I have just found out I have worms it is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened to me I am so grossed out. I am 18 weeks pregnant. How do I get rid of them? I have heard that pregnant women are not allowed to take the medicine.
I live with my partner and daughter.

get used to it, once you have children they will probably have them at least three times! dont worry they are really common and harmless but because you are pregnant you should ask the pharmacist/doctor for advice before taking anything you can buy stuff over the counter (embarrassing for you but they deal with it all the time) change all bedlinen wash on high temperature wear underwear in bed hoover and mop floors dont share towels wear gloves to clean loo etc if you are allowed to take the overcounter tablets they will be gone in one dose.

Go to your GP - it is not safe to try any herbal remedies whilst you are pregnant. You could however try eating a lot of raw garlic - they are not supposed to like it.

i had them ages ago too. caught it from my cat (bloody thing lol) i went to the chemist & they recommended ovex. u will have to check if pregnant women can take them but they are very effective
