The crusades isn't an example of Biblical contradiction. It's an example of human barbarism inspired by religious hatred.

The crusades was the persecution of the Jews and was ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH not Christians huge difference HUGE!!!!
A catholic and a christian are NOT the same. I wish people would figure that out. The bible is being prov-en right on the money every day by archaeologists. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled and the most talked about prophecies in the bible will soon be fulfilled. Look at Israel. Jerusalem was destroyed by Titus in 70 AD and the Jewish occupation ended up until 1948. That alone is huge. All the end time prophecy in the bible include the Jews Occupying Israel. coincidence??? Wake up.

You are asking an age old question
Everyone needs to challenge their beliefs
Some really believe so strongly in all kinds of things because for some reason they think it's either true or they should believe it because it's always been that way.
There are so many contridictions not only in the bible and the old crusades but there are many contridictions in peoples beliefs.
I guess you will get many interesting answers to this question
Good luck
Kind regards

Because we know we have the truth. People really are changed after they become Christians unlike other religions. The Bible is completely historically accurate. People think we are shoving our religion in peoples faces but we just want to save as many people as we can from Hell.

The crusades were from the Catholics. Christians have more than head knowledge of God, when you get saved, you have a personal experience with the Lord. The Holy Spirit helps us understand the bible, and there are no contradictions.

IT'S CALLED FAITH!!!
The mistakes of the Crusades where carried out by people who misunderstood the meanings of the bible...
But the bible itself is not a contradiction...
I'm CATHOLIC AND PROUD!!!

Not just Christians. People that have the need to believe, have faith, will go to any length to hang on to that need, even if it means they will kill themselves for it.
And the crusades, which no one above seems to know, was an answer to the invasion by the Eastern people into Europe. You attack someone (even today!), there will be repercussions!! ;-)
People, don't you know ANY history?

it doesn't contradict itself. You just don't read the words around the verses. Not reading the whole book and bible leaves room for questioning. I believe because the words always come to my mind in times of trouble. Long live and glory to the God almighty, the way, the truth and the life and the one who lives forever and ever and who gives me hope to live.

unfortunately, history is riddled with cases of man using religion for his own selfish doings. the crusades were not led by true christians, but rather greedy men in disguise.

We have faith. History isn't always right either. Faith is a wonderful thing. It gives you peace. Being saved was the greatest day of my life. My heart was filled with joy and I thought I was going to bust. I still feel that way.
