There is no way sins can be inherited

Jesus will not pay for your sins. Everyone is responsible for their own mistakes. That's not fare. Justice must be serve.

There is no such thing as total depravity. That was invented by John Calvin. Even with original sin, there is enough grace left in the soul of humans to choose to do good, and choose to believe in God. If we are totally depraved, we could not do that. Matrimony was instituted before the Fall, and it has always been holy, and did not suffer the consequences of the Fall, making it a unique sacrament, and disproving Calvins invention. There is also the natural law that is written on every persons heart. Humans instinctivly know that certain things are wrong and certain things are good. Killing is wrong no matter what religion (or no religion) you follow. People choose to harden their conscience to commit evil acts. Because evil exists does not mean that God willed it.

the verse you quoted references a common belief among the Jews that the sons beared the burden of their father's sins. God is setting this straight saying that each person is responsible for their own actions and they each make their own choices. This concept of the children paying for the parents sins is also illustrated in John 9:1-3, in which Jesus and the disciples encounter a man born blind, and the disciples ask Jesus who had sinned-the man or his parents-that he was born blind. If you're looking for original sin, you'd best start back in Genesis.

Sin originally started in the book of Genesis when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden apple. If you'll remember, Noah built the Ark to wipe out these people for God to rid the world of sin after this. Of course we still had a sin nature which is why Jesus did die on the cross to save us from our sin.

You need to come to repentance, read the entire bible, join a bible study group and walk after seeking the Lord. If you want to pick a verse here and there to dispute tGod and the truth...you are searching to disprove God...your heart and soul is hardened, you can never find God or truth that way. Satan has you under his control and you work to attack the Lord. Your heart is hardened from truth. When you come to find your life falling apart from living in sin and see how Satan lies to you and uses you....then and only then will you look at scripture, God and truth in light. I feel very sorry for you.

i think it is a false idea that was emerged from christians that followed him. the bible is mixed in truths and lies. it is hard to tell the truth from the false things. this is a false thing that christians probably wanted to believe and have since beleived it. it is also one of the reasons why christianity has despiseed and been against women. they believ the sin has been carried on from eve.

You are perceptive. The original sin was the mistaken idea that we have fallen from grace and that we are separate from God.
