I am also going to make him a romantic dinner. Everyone ive talked to says that he'll like a ring because he'll like anything I give him, but is that too feminine?

I think its ok. It doesnt have to be anything pricelless like a wedding ring. There are a lot of different types of rings guys like. An eagle ring, a skull ring, square rings ... ect ect ect..
I know that there are guys that wear their girlfriends rings on they necklaces..
I have done that before.
What you can do.. is buy a set of matching rings..
one for you and one for him.

\in my opinion, it depends on three things, 1) how old are you both? 2)how long have you been together? 3) do you see giving him a ring a sign of commitment? There are some awesome men's rings out there but again, you must look into your heart and what this ring means to you and how you think it means to him. The people that say he'll like it because he will like anything u give him, seem kind of shalow because at my age, I know that even tho the man may SEEM like he likes everything you give him...it is not always the truth.

ok first of all girl, he should appreciate anything that you gives him because he loves you and it's the thought that counts. I think that he'll LOVE the ring. And if your friends are saying that he'll like it then go for it! but if he gives you a hard time about getting something that he doesnt like ( i dont mean just saying "oh honey but it doesnt fit" because that's okay i guess for him =), then have a long talk with him about appreciating you and how he treats you.

No, you shouldn't give him a ring because it's Valentines day and he should be giving you a ring, but you should do the romantic dinner.

i think it's really sweet, but i don't know if he would like to wear a ring, unless he likes wearing rings... but i think a dinner is really nice :] especially if you are a good cook!
