Yes. Blindness refers to a problem with the optic nerve, macula, retina or other part of the eye inhibiting sight, not the lacrimal sac/ducts (tear ducts) or the eyelids. Furthermore, only 10% of people who are legally blind are in total darkness---blindness is legally defined as vision best corrected to 20/200 or worse. That means that most people who are considered "blind" may still be able to read, see the person sitting in front of them, or distinguish motion or light perception.

Yes, they just cant see, other than that they have eyes like normal people... unless they dont have eyeballs at all, but they probably still could blink... im not sure they could cry though.

Of course. Blinking (lid muscles) and crying (tear ducts) have nothing to do with vision.

their inability to see is linked to an optic nerve problem or something similar. it has nothing to do with opening their eyelids or a blockage in their tear ducts. so, yes, they can both blink and cry. they're amazing aren't they?

blind people can do anything with their eyes except see.
they can cry and blink, they don't have their sight to see.

yes they have tear ducks like all of us do and blinking is something we all do it is subconscious and keeps the eyes wet

Yes, they can keep their eyes open when they want too. Only thing different is they can't see, but we can't see what they can't...
