Answer: If they don't believe God is real, why should they heed any of the above?
... and Christians wonder why they keep getting "attacked". This "question" is a perfect example. Where is your LOVE for humanity, as taught by Jesus?

I noticed I'm the only Heathen to answer this question. ;-)
First things first. You do not understand what the word is. Heathen describes two things:
* The pre-Christian religion of the ancient Germanic peoples;
* The modern reconstruction of that religion.
Some modern Heathens call their religion by other names, the most popular being Ãsatrú.
That being said; I do believe in gods, I just don't worship yours. He is not a very nice god now is he? Damning people to burn in hell for all eternity.

Begging the question in logic, also known as circular reasoning and by the Latin name petitio principii, is an informal fallacy found in many attempts at logical arguments. An argument which begs the question is one in which a premise presupposes the conclusion in some way.
The following argument is a standard example of begging the question: "The Bible says God exists, and the Bible must be right since it is the revealed word of God, so God exists." Obviously enough, no one who doubts the conclusion has any reason to accept the second premise, which presupposes it.

First off, you are confusing Atheists with Heathens. Do you even know what a Heathen is? A Heathens are polytheists that worship the native gods of Europe.
Myself, I am an Atheist. Your god doesn't exist, your make-believe hell doesn't exist; you have no proof or evidence of either. And threats of hell, fire, and damnation will get you no were. They are nothing more then a cheap bag of tricks. Even IF your god did exist, I wouldn't worship him because he is immoral and sadistic. I would gladly chose to side with Satan because he is the lesser of the two evils.

If God is not real then is hasn't loved us nor kept us alive.
You're gambling with eternity as much as us, which is not much. I don't think Hell is real just because some book says so. There's no reason to think there will be any day of judgement.

To make God into this horrible tyrant that rewards with heaven and punishes with hell is the height of spiritual immaturity and selfishness (one does good for the 'whats in it for me' reward). It's the ultimate form of blasphemy, as god is made into an image of horror. This is what atheists reject and, ironically, it's why atheists are actually closer to the real god -- by at least rejecting the horrible images made by ego-based people who make god into what they want him to be. If for some reason this ego-projected tyrant were real (whether the heaven/hell-based christian god or the volcano god that demands sacrifice), we would spit on him and beg to be sent to hell instead of the torture of having to spend it in eternity with a madman like him.

For chrissake.. I even believe in God and know my medula oblongotta has more to do with keeping me alive than God.
The Bible also says the Earth has four corners, stop bugging me with the message of Christ, the point of which you have obviously missed, and go find me a corner of the Earth.
