I have no idea what your soon to be ex-husbands branch or rank is but he is brought DIS-HONOR to HIMSELF, his rank and the Military as a whole.

When your friend gets back he will probably out-rank your husband and make his life MISERABLE.

It is funny how things happen in the service. Your friend will come home (GOD's HAND), find out what happened and drop a dime to the Master Chief or "Top" and the wheels will start to turn. Your husband could easily find himself in South Dakota digging holes in frozen dirt.

I PRAY that your husband is NOT a MARINE or SAILOR because he will probably receive some SEVERE physical reeducation in the process.

How much space can 1500 worth of stuff take? Sounds like abuse of rank and that makes him a "POS" REMF!

Call the local police (or M.P's if you live on base) and get a police report. Then call the Provost Marshall to make sure him or her gets a copy of the police report. This will get an investigation going and will ultimately hold your husband responsible. What he did is beyond disgusting. Your friend left his issued items with someone he thought he could trust. Oh, and since you know about this if you don't do anything, you will go to jail right along with him. So if you don't want the hammer to come down on you too then immediately turn your stupid husband in to the cops.

He is in Iraq fighting for us and that's the thanks he gets, if your ex did not want the solider`s stuff at his house the very least he should of done was call a relative or friend and ask them to come get it. I don't know if he can get in trouble or not but i sure hope so. You know what goes around come around

I don't know if you live on base or not, but if not, then you can file a police report of theft (grand theft if its $1500). His rank is of NO weight with civilian police, believe me. I used to be a deputy sheriff and could arrest military people same as anybody else, even another cop, if he was crooked.

Get that soldier's stuff back if it was military items you can go to jail for selling it or giving it away because it belongs to the military not the soldier, the soldier had to sign for that stuff and it isn't yours to give away or sell.

What your "soon to be" husband has done is called THEFT. And if he SOLD it, he is guilty under the UCMJ of selling stolen property. The person who received the stolen property or bought it is as guilty and can be punished according to the UCMJ(and if a civilian, according to local laws). As a higher rank person (Corporal? haha) he should set himself to higher standards than that.
This is the kind of person you 'soon to be' husband REALLY is. Is this the kind of person you want to spend your life with and have children by?
