The cat has worms. You really need to take the cat in to have a test done to see what worms it has. Most over the counter wormers treat hookworms and roundworms but wont usually treat tapeworms or whipworms. So your best bet to treat you cat is to take it in so the vet can give you the exact medicine you need (and also they can give a shot to treat it instead of trying to pill a cat). If it is tapeworms you need to treat your house, cat, and yard for fleas (thats where tapeworms come from) or else you will continue to have a tapeworm problem. Good luck

Weigh her and ask the vet for a worming solution such as Frontline which u simple put on the back of the cats neck.
Do this treatment every 3-4 months it is not expensive.
If u do not worm ur cat the worms will destroy her kidneys and she will die.
Happy New Year.

yes they're worms.. you need to de-worm your cat. If they look like grains of rice on feces then it is tapeworms..but cats can get a variety of worms, especially if they have been outdoors or their mother ate rodents and such.
You can usually take a fecal sample to a vet and they will diagnose the worm type and prescribe a dewormer that will work. Many over the counter wormers are not strong enough to combat a worm infestation.

Probably tape worm segments or round worms, take it to the vet to be tested and dewormed. Humans can get these worms from cats and dogs, it is a potential health hazard that can be easily prevented

The cat has worms. Left untreated the cat may get very sick. The cat also needs to be treated for fleas on a regular schedule. See your vet for treatment. The stuff you buy at PetSmart, Wal-mart, etc isn't worth the money you pay for it ....

Sounds like he has worms. You need to either take him to the vest or go buy some de-wormer at a store. Just follow the directions and they should go a way. If you don't take care of the problem asap they will kill your cat and it sounds pretty bad already.

Time to go to the vet for a broad spectrum dewormer. The over the counter ones are not very good. Besides you can take care of multiple worms with a broad spectrum dewormer.

Yes he has worms. It's common in pets and since they wash they're bottoms they reinfect themselves. You need to get a dewormer, you can buy dewormer most grocery stores or department stores such as Walmart K-Mart or Target or any pet store, or if that doesn't work you may need to see the Veternarian for something stonger.
