What different types of doctors are there? (brain surgeon, nurse, pediatriction, OBGYN, etc....) I want the ones where you need a MD

Here you sit at your computer with the whole world at your fingertips! You can do an extensive Google search and find out all that you'd ever want to know about doctors.
And while you're at it, you could also do a search on how much medical school would cost at Duke!

A nurse is not a doctor. A nurse is a nurse.

Pediatrician is how you spell that specialty.

All doctors are either MD's, DO's, DPM's,........

If you aren't either of those, you aren't a doctor ( as in you cannot prescribe medications, admit to hospitals, order tests, perform surgery if you are a surgeon etc.)........

( This is different from people with PhD's and doctorates in things like Pharmacy and Psychology. They are doctors but not the kind you are referring to, judging by your question).

a nurse is not a dr. and you do not need a "md".
