I guess it depends on how long you have been talking on the phone if you have...some people already like the conversation of one another,then it would be appropriate to hug. But if you don't know this person at all then it's appropriate to shake hands or nothing at all. Adults may shake hands kids just nod. Me myself will just give them a big smile and say hi it's nice to meet you!!!!!
