i like the phone booth idea from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, but it's far from convenient. maybe like, a remote? or no, a phone. you type in the date with the numbers, and then press send, and there you go. gah i love the idea of time travel, it's theoretically so possible.

The first thing that came to mind was a cell phone, but it would seem that given the frequency in which a cell phone rings, the chance for unintentional time travel would be high.In addition, a cell phone would be quite an anachornism in many eras of time, lending a chance for much trouble.

So, I'll say...a container of Bert's Bees Beeswax Balm. Portable, small, and less likely to disturb the balance of the Prime Directive.

Heh.

I like the idea of a wrist watch size. But mine would be an express maker with time machine capacities, that way I will have your latte where ever you go!

I love the EPOCH! It can fly and shoot lasers though you can only have three people into it at one time.

my time machine would be in a drink.
when you drink it,
it starts realigning the forces that create time as we see it.
when our mind becomes properly infused,
then we are able to "travel" to another time frame.

the drink is absorbed slowly
in our system
and we'd be able to travel through times
as long as our body still contained the residue of the drink.

when it is completely eliminated, we'd no longer be able to time-travel.

because my time machine is internal,
it wouldn't get lost as i traveled through time,
--so, i'd be able to "get back"

note to holliestergurl: we EXIST in a time machine, honey
(no disrespect)

Classic black pumps for the ladies and wingtips for the gents ...

You step into them and time travel at will.
