He did everything, then he starting acting a damn mess. Then i put his *** out now he wants to do everything right again. What should I do?

I would like to set questions (to be thought by yourself):
- how long have you been close friends?
- were his backgrounds O.K.?
- any reasons for his current behaviour?
If your very objective answers to these questions make you thinking about a new start, I suggest that you shall set some rules for him - and yourself, too! - and you should have some "test period" together first. After some time you can do a shared agreement/disagreement about your marriage.
Still to be remembered: we are all human beings and I myself have experiences of over 30 years' marriage which has ended. Chances to avoid the fatal future of marriage are more promising if both of you have similar basic opinions and targets of life.
But - do not hurry just now! If you are the most important person for him, he can discuss with you about your situation and you shall have an agreement - either negative or (I hope so) positive one.

I'd give it sometime. As someone else said a second chance isn't out of the realm of possibilty but I wouldn't jump from I put you out to I do without a LOT of time and thought on my part. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Keep looking around.
If he wants to act nice just to get you back (and it sounds like this is his coming pattern), then he will revert to his "acting a damn mess," again.
He is who he is, and you won't change him.
Move on.

Give him another chance, it's at least you can do, if he messes up again kick him out for good... And if he come crawling back then he has no life. And if he's does good his second chance, reward him with marrage.
