do you mean grease or oil?

if oil- if you dont cook with it too much-you can use it a while.
if you always use it though, sedement from all the cooking collects at the bottom-you should change it every week or so.
(or change it when the oil turns dark brown)

You really shouldn't leave it in there. You should, after each use...and after it is cooled (I do it the next day) filter the oil (use a fine strainer and a funnel) and pour it into a DRY container (empty milk carton or two...a very large oil bottle). You need it dry so that when you reheat the oil, you don't get a bunch of splattering. If you'd like, after you filter it, you can store it in the fryer...but you should always filter the oil after using it to make it last longer and to make it taste better. If your question is how many times can you reuse the oil...it depends on what you are frying...generally, the more protein something has (meats), the fewer times you can reuse the oil...I like to use the same oil 4-5 times...depending...then I use fresh oil.

Depends on how often you use it. But generally, I keep to the 21 day rule. Remember that grease accumulates flavors and smells from the foods that it cook. If you are cooking strongly flavored foods, change it between foods so that the taste doesn't leech into the other foods you prepare.

You can usually see how bad it gets. I wouldn't reuse it more than three times. It starts to change color and taste. You don't want to keep reusing that stuff too many times. It'll change the flavor of the food. Buy yourself a big tub of oil and change often. Always filter the oil before using it again, once it has cooled down of course. use common sense.

I re-use the oil once or twice for like foods. For example, I can get a 2 good batches of fries in the same oil from like a few days later. If I were you I would filter the oil in a jar and use it later for the same type of food; but if the oilis dirty (fried chicken) just tss it out. peace.

I always drain my deep fryer and put the used oil in a airtight container. When needed I reuse, but never keep oil more then 3 weeks.
