my friend told this guy that i wanted to go out with him...and he said" i want to hear her ask me".so i did and he said idk.(?)how can i ask him why he said he didnt know when i asked him???(without making sound weird and by not making him fell mad or annoyed)help plz.thnx in advance

That sounds more like a gentle rejection...I'd leave it alone at this point...he knew before you asked or he wouldn't have insisted you ask him yourself...he's not interested sugar, move on...

I'm just guessing this of course, but I think that maybe he didn't know who you were when your girlfriend asked him. So he asked your girlfriend for you to ask him yourself. Maybe when you asked him, he was in shock. Maybe he didn't really like you and was just trying to be nice, but to reject you.
In any case, you did everything that you needed to do and the rest is up to him. Guys are usually the ones who need to make the first move, and we love it when a girl finally makes the first move. It also shows you what guys have to go through to meet up with someone you're interested in.
But, you would think that he would meet you half way. It's his loss, roxygirl. I hope that this doesn't scare you from making the first move in the future, though. Best of luck to you, and happy hunting.

this guy is a jerk. possibly a player. he probably thinks your a good looking girl but is simply not attracted to you. he probably wanted to see how far you would go for him. besides if you want to ask him why he replied the way that he did (which you have a right to know) while trying not to get him mad or annoyed, its because your subconcious is telling you this guy is no good. forget about him and move on! besides the most probable thing is that once he sees that you dont care anymore, he'll be chasing you down! but by then you wont have time for him. :)

smack your friend for giving you false information. I don't advise asking him further, you'll only come off looking desperate. Don't give him that upper hand right off the bat. If the subject comes up again, you can relay you're own rules....you already did your part, it's up to him to make the next move.

why bother. it's not that important. stop acting nervous and being petty. instead spend time trying to figure out things to do to make an incredible date. you must be young. stick to what is important.
