There are three credit reporting agencies. Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and you can get one from one of the companies today. Then in four months go on there again and get one from another one and in another four months from then go back on there and get one from the third one. Just write down which you got one from before and you can get three free each year.

You can get it immediately and you won't have to pay for it. However if you want a credit score, you'll have to pay for that.

Go to free annual credit report.com, click onto your state and go from there. I'ts not three a year though. You can do it one time for free and all three credit bureas will be in that one file. Transunion,Experion and Equfax.

I do mean one time a year not one time only for free.

Fax your details to the credit agency.
It takes up to 10-20 days while you can pay if you want it immediately.

Make sure you write down the file numbers from each report so you can access them later if you need to.
