I have an idea of what the civil service test will be like but I cannot find out anything about the physical test. I really want this job, can anyone recommend where I might find out more info on these exams?

Try your nearest Borders Bookstore they have those kind of study guides and the sample exams as well.

Are you wanting to find out information on the Physical Agility Test prior to making it to the academy or the test during the academy? There is usually an agility test during the hiring process and then once you make it to the academy another test that is much more rigorous.

go to your local police academy and ask them
or go to their website
when my dad had to train to be a police officer
he said the physical test was really hard
u have to do a lot of running
and fight other recruits in the ring
theres also a test with pepper spray

Basically if you are BREATHING you will get the job. Depending upon your age will depend on how many pushups, situps, etc you will be required to do in one minute-----------it IS NOT DIFFICULT at all.
