Fruits and vegetables are just as healthy for pets as they are for people. Supplement a dog's diet wisely. Many people turn to unhealthy pet snacks, when much more nutritious foods are right in the refrigerator.
Many dogs are reluctant to try fruits or vegetables, so mixing them with VitaGravy, familiar foods or warming them may help the transition. Some acidic fruits can cause nausea, especially if overeaten. Too much fruit can soften the stool to the point of diarrhea. It is best to introduce new foods in small quantities to note your dog's reaction before feeding larger amounts.

Dogs often enjoy bananas, watermelon, cantalope, strawberries, blueberries, pears, apples, blackberries, raspberies, sweet potato, tomato, squash, pumpkin, green beans, carrots as treats.
As long as your dog is getting a well balanced raw diet, homecooked diet or good quality kibble..veggie/fruit treats are fine. They are actually better for dogs then commercial dog treats especially if your dog tends to be overweight.
Dogs are not omnivores..they are designed to eat meat. The anatomy and digestive tract tells that. They are designed to extract nutrition from meats not veggies/grains. In the wild dogs often will tear out the intestines & stomach and put it to the side instead of eating it. It also needs to be taken into consideration any of the plant protein they get from animals they kill is already partially digested. Left to their own devices dogs will eat grass, berries, apples, pears on their own, but in moderation and often when there is a need such as urinary issue, constipation, etc. Even if they do eat veggies/fruits they don't eat grains...they don't raid cornfields or wheat fields.

Pretty sure they wont hurt them. Some are harder to digest than others. If you have a dog that will actually eat them though that's amazing. Mine usually spit it right back out. Don't make it their only diet though considering dog food is made to provide specific nutrients for different ages of dogs and fruit and veggies don't provide those.

Yes, dogs especially love vegetables - just no corn because they can't digest it and no onions. Mine love squash, broccoli, beans, cauliflower, peas, carrots, and especially, brussel sprouts. They can have a few bites of fruit if they like it, but no more or they're likely to get the runs.

Depends on the dogs. Ask someone knowledgeable about your breed of dog. Our dogs demand vegetables as part of their diet. If your dog is eating grass offer it lettuce. If your dog is eating poop, then it is likely protein deprived, so offer it ground beef or cooked chicken livers and they will stop eating poop.

Yah! all fruits are good for dogs.
Many are misknowledged........ Dogs are not carnivores....They are omnivores.
Dogs in wild kill only herbivores. And immediately after the kill they eat away the intestinal tract first to get all the grass and those veggies bcoz they kno they want the plant protiens too for their well and then eat the flesh.

Yes, in moderation. Dogs are carnivores, but can still eat fruits and veggies. Just make sure they don't choke!
