My ex gf called me up we have been broken up for 3 months she wants me to be her date to this fancy dinner should i go i want to get her back does this sound like my chance???

She may just not have anyone to go with. Since she is asking you and it sounds fancy (and expensive) I would see if she is planning to pay. I would hate it if she is not only using you because she has no one else to go with but also for a free dinner. But I would also not just blurt out are you going to pay?
See how she acts: flirty, interested.. you dated her before so you will be able to tell if she is into you. And if she is into you, and you want to get back with her.. then yes this is your chance.. don't blow it.. have fun!

Well, it totally depends.
1) If you are still friends you should go.
2) If you want her to be mad at you, you could just say no.
3) You could go and not dress up(wear a sweatshirt and like ripped jeans or something), be really annoying to make her extra mad at you for embassising her.
