What do you hate about your family?

come on be honest, I hate mine because they are always making me stress, and because of this I have lost some weight and my girlfriend things I'm getting sick because of it..she is probably right though..so what do you hate about them and why?

I hate that they are always making excuses for each other even when they know that person is wrong. They bust into my house uninvited and don't take their shoes off. They are in each other's business constantly. They are all pack rats and don't clean their houses much. When they buy a new car, they just take the old one and park it until it rusts and then there are 20 junk cars turning the place into a junk yard. They eat with their mouths open and suck food out of their teeth instead of flossing. They waste their money on things they don't need or use (like $100 bread machines or a crappy parts car) and then want to borrow money. The inside of their cars look like the dumpster behind McDonalds. They tell stories at least twice and laugh hard both times. Problem is, it wasn't funny the first time around. And hello, we're not deaf. We heard it the first time. They feed their animals scraps and think that they can feed your animals whatever they want no matter what you say. They don't flush the toilet when they pee and sometimes when they do #2. If it's yellow, let it mellow isn't cool with me. I don't want someone else's urine splashing up on me! They use tissues and then leave them lay on your furniture instead of throwing it away. Or when they eat a piece of candy, they leave the wrapper lay like it would have really killed them to walk a foot to the garbage can to pitch it. I hate that they can't have normal conversations without bitching or talking nonstop about themselves and what THEY want. I hate that we can't have a party w/o some annoying relative showing up with his stripper girlfriend and her twenty kids. I just want some peace and I want a normal family! So you thought your family was bad!

Mitch, i get so mad when my brother teases me about being short. I really get upset when my sisters tell me that I need to spend more money on clothes instead of putting it into a saving account. I really really get mad when mom tells me that my apartment would look better if i arranged the furniture how she thought it should be. They make me very, very mad, but I do not hate them. We are family. We are blood. We will be there for each other. If your weight loss is more than normal and you feel sick all the time, it could be a medical problem for this. Sometime we cause stress on ourself also. Something tells me that you hate for your parents to tell you anything, and your not old enough to move out yet, they take care of you, and really are not legally old enough to make your own decisions yet. Hey, calm down, listen to your parents, they are trying some tough love to get you to straighten up, listen to them, then they will stop telling you.

I grew up in a very dysfunctional family and it's not my siblings fault that they were raised in an environment like that.It's depressing sometimes but I try to do constructive things to overcome my depression.What I mostly hate about my family is the backstabbing.My mom can be a good person but she likes to instigate.She'll say something like "I liked the restaurant that____ took me to",or _____ gave me 100.00 dollars.She doesn't care if she hurts anybodies feelings.She likes to play her children against each other all of the time.That's what I hate about her.She'll talk about my sis and I always tell her that she's not here to defend herself.I tell my daughter if I ever act like her,SLAP me hard !Because I don't want to be like her.Now I feel bad for spilling my guts out.I guess I'll stop here.

What i hate about them is that they only get together if there is a death in the family. And my aunt act like she is 18 and she is in her 50's rides a Harley. She drives me crazy. My mother in-law cause she don't have any thing to do with my son but that;s OK i guess she will be sorry for that one day so i guess that pretty much sums that up but i can go on all day long about other things if you know what i mean.But i won't bore you to death so i will go for now thanks for asking that question that made me feel better.

My mother and sisters are pathetic. My mum has stayed with this piece of $#it man for over ten years even though he blatantly disrespects her and ridicules her all the time, and he is a dirty pervert who felt my sisters and I up when we were about 13/14 years old. We have told her about this and he got arrested for it but she is still with him. It disgusts me - as a parent shouldn't her first instinct be to protect her children not her love interest? I now have no respect for her, I love her, but I think she is a weak idiot. She is awful with money, we hardly ever have enough food in the house to eat 3 meals a day... we eat a lot of toast. She is constantly a nervous wreck, she starts shaking in any public situation because she's really shy. I know she can't really help it but it annoys the crap out of me because she has passed this flaw onto my sisters and I. I have come quite a long way in overcoming this shyness, but my younger sisters are still cripplingly shy. It makes me sad to see the way they walk like timid animals with tense hunched shoulders and eyes down. One of them is shy to the point of plain rudeness. If she is buying something, she won't even look the shop assistant in the eye, let alone say thankyou! It's terrible, and the worst part is they seem to have accepted that as their fate, that they will always be shy thanks to Mum and there's nothing they can do about it. It really frustrates me, I just hope they can get over it as they get older and more self confident. And my Dad - he is a truly kind person and will do anything for you, but then he will spend about 6 months whining about how it put him out. He is the biggest whinger I know. He honestly does not say anything positive, all he ever does is complain, which is why I can't be bothered going to visit him, and then he complains that I never visit... endless circle of hell! And he never does anything to help himself, he just blames all his problems on other people. And he has anger/road rage issues which can be scary and often embarrassing when I'm in the car with him.
AAAAAAAANYWAY.... that's my little ***** session for today, thanks for listening! I do love my family I just hate those things about them - in general they are lovely, fun, kind people they just $#it me off sometimes : )

i hate the jealousy and the back stabbing, siblings can be so evil. for example i have a sister who is a strong Mormon, she's been to the temple and all and yet she is so jealous and always gossiping about other people and their families. she fails to see any fault within herself. another example she had a child out of wedlock fifty years ago and she gave the child up for adoption. until today she does not want anyone to know about this especially her Mormon people. is that a hypocrite or what!

i hate different things about different ppl in my family--
well i hate how my dad keeps calling me fat whenever he sees me eating.(even though i run 3 miles everyday and i play soccer)i hate how he cant stand the fact that im having fun..like when im watching tv he'll yell at me and say i should stop watching tv and go grab a book and memorize it so ill get into college..i hate how nothings good enough for him---

my mom---i hate how if a say im not hungry she'll asume that im anerexic!--wtf--just because im not hungry doesnt mean i dont eat! ..and i hate how she keeps baby-ing me one minute and then the next she dumps everything on me..i hate how i have to clean the entire house when she knows i have school work to do..

my sister--i hate how we have to disagree and fight about EVERYTHING!!

my brother--i hate how he goes onto my sisters side just because she's being nice to him for a minute
and theres WAYYYYYYYYYYY more stuff but thats what bugs me the most---

I agree with the guy above...my family spends so much money on things that we don't need...currently at my family's house we have 8 TV's when there is barely anyone home at all.

I like the old saying, You cannot pick your family but you can choose your friends. I have moments were my family annoys the heck out of me but thats where my friends come in. Accept the way they are and accept you can't change them to the way you want.
