Do pet stains clean easily?

I have generally good cats, but a bad mark in the wrong place would ruin a good sofa.

Good quality microfiber can be amazing. I am not suggesting Pottery Barn but I have to tell you how excellent their everyday suede is. Everything wipes off this material. Ketchup, mud, fur just wipes away with a damp cloth. The material is great for pets.

When buying furniture you do want to make sure you can zip the covers off. that way if a pet stain happens on the cushion you can saturate the cover and air the cushion out. Don't worry about back cushions or arms they never get as much abuse as the cushions.

Microfiber if a good quality can definitely hide and small claw marks. Take home swatches if your cats seem interested in the material it might not be good for you. If they ignore it purchase the furniture you like IT WILL HOLD UP.

I don't know much about microfiber, but if you have some pieces of wool around your cats will use those to hang out on instead of anything else because they love the feel of it and it retains body heat. I have wool blankies and braided rugs for all my animals and they always hang on those surfaces.
