What was God's intention when he created earth? I mean the only thing certain in life is death so why are we all here? There has to be a reason. I'm sure we're all not just killing time until we die so why earth, why life, why death? Please give me your thoughts. Yes I actually wonder about this.

God created heaven and earth and free will. If he gave free will he had to know people would not always listen to him. So did he also give us the original sin? If he created heaven and earth, man, and gave man free will should he not also have created sin? Thoughts please? He's smart how did he not forsee his children going astray?

i being a muslim can answer your question in term of islamic believe, after your question i actually wondered too even though as kid i was told when God was preparing Human's he decided to make us from sand (when a human is burnt we become sand) the demon did not agree to God decision and he being one of the most powerful creation of God which had a mind of its own turned against God, and challenged him that i will mislead all your creation. thats why we were sent down to earth. when we do soemthing wrong we say we have been leading the devil's route. God actually created in such a way that we either follow wrong or good, the choice was left to us, its us who lead ourself to the gates of hell. Heaven was actually mae first and every human after their death was suppose to go there anyway. Hell was created by the devil itself and whoever followed its path will go to hell which was created much much later.
Life is a test for us, in this test we have to choose between write and wrongs, and what ever we do is our doing not the devils or God's. we have the right to choose as humans, God gave everyone such power to think and to stop our self from doing soemthing wrong.

1) According to Proverbs, God created the earth while playing.
2) According to Genesis, God created humanity for companionship.
3) Free will, which you admirably include in your query, gives us the freedom to be independent of God. This is not God's desire, but it allows us to be more than toasters. Example: Free will allows a 3 year old to let go of the grocery cart and look at candy. The parents know this will happen, prepare against it, warn against it, but in the interest of nourishing the toddler's growth, allow it to happen - although w/ a careful eye out for danger.
Actually - death is not sure, life is in Christ. Ultimately, even death will "die."

Well, if you must know; God did it to find people who would make good neighbors to his people on Planet H (Heaven).

I am serious: Nothing else seems to make any sense.

And, just how do we get to Heaven? Bubba preachers never seem to preach the reality of the following test.

Jesus said, "Forgive others when they make mistakes. If you do not forgive others, your father in Heaven will not forgive you".

What is the best kind of Neighbor, whether here on Earth or in a Place with eternal life like Heaven?

A good neighbor is one that will forgive you when you make a mistake. --

Why don't Bubba Preachers preach these words of Jesus?

They would lose their congregation. It seems just about everyone has a grudge against someone, and they don't want to give up their grudge by forgiving others.

It's a pretty tough test (to forgive others). But the rewards are "Heavenly", both on Earth and in Heaven.

Now, can we understand the expression, "Narrow is the path"?

god's intention when he created earth was for all human beings to live together in peace and harmony. god created the earth before he created Adam and eve. he never knew that Adam and eve would disobey his warning but they did. and now we are being punished for the mistake that they made. and it will never stop until he comes back for his people. everyone on this earth is here for a purpose and a reason. and until we serve that to the fullest we will never leave this earth and live in the after life after death. as i said we are here to serve a purpose and a reason. have you done that no. that is the reason you are still here and i am still here. god loves us and that is the reason he gave hi only son for us. that is the reason he is called god. he is more than man and we should serve him and we are here to do that and send a message to all the people on earth.

In the bible it says that God created man and earth in is own image...He created every ting in 7 days we were meant to have eternal life...He created Adam and Eve but Saint an lead them to eat the apple from the forbidden tree which God told them not to do...They were kicked out of the Garden or Eden I may not be totally clear but if you are really interested do research and the bible..

hmmm... that's a tough question, worthy to be wondered about. i guess the only certain thing in this life is death, but i believe that there IS an afterlife that is worth looking forward to. i believe that afterlife is obtained through Jesus Christ. but i don't believe in Jesus just to get out of going to hell. i believe that there is a reason for life in the here and now, we don't have to die just to get to a new life. so what is the meaning of life? that's a pretty long answer, and i think this one is long enough. great question!

God did not create us just so we could die. In fact, He never intended we die. We were created so we could fellowship with Him. He loves us so we were created in His image. But when sin entered the world, so did death. Not God's intention.

God made earth for man to habitate. Originally, man was to live forever, and have companionship with God. When Adam sinned, that brought pain, suffering and death into the world. Before sin, there was no death, of man, or of animal. That's why it's important for Christians to believe in a 6,000 year age of the world. If dinosaurs were alive 65 million years ago, then there was pain, suffering and death before sin, which is against the Bible.

The Bible says that through the sin of one man, Adam, death reins, through the righteousness of the last Adam, Jesus, we will have eternal life. Jesus will come again and restore the world to a pre-sin state.
