I'm thinking of getting a chicken but I dont have a lot of money to spend and i work till 5 o'clock PLEASE HELP ME

A chicken is very easy to care for. Just FYI: Get a hen. Most roosters will not only crow and wake you up about 4 a.m., but they are mean birds! I know from my experience with a Rhode Island Red Rooster. All you need is either a large bird cage, or a regular chicken coop. The feed is real cheap, and make sure the bird always has fresh water. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Chickens are not for pet's, unless you live on a farm.
they poop every where and sometimes have fleas,or lice.
really it's just not a good idea. they don't cuddle, I was raised on a farm; chickens don't make good pet's.
