I want to copy my dvd movie to my computer and convert from a VOD file. Cuz, none of my softwares recognize it.

Try Xilisoft or WinXmedia software. If you want, look for one on a torrent or limewire... Goto download.com for full reviews and user comments and stuff

Someone mentioned the VLC media player and it is a great choice. It's free and plays virtually all file types. As for a video converter, I recommend Any Video Converter.
