Yes, but it is complicated to explain here. I would suggest going to the Amazing Facts website and ordering their "Library of Sermons #12" called "Teach us to Pray". It is a short, small booklet that gives very good guidelines for prayer based upon how Christ instructed us to pray.
In a nutshell, when praying, you should always remember the acronym J-O-Y. Jesus, Others, Yourself. That means that first you should praise the Lord for who He is and what He has done for you, and ask Him how you can best serve Him, then you should pray for the welfare and salvation of others, then lastly you should pray for your own wants and needs.
Most people who pray only pray about 3 minutes a day. What if you were to breathe or eat for only 3 minutes a day? You wouldn't live very long, would you? We as Christians are obligated to spend almost as much time in prayer as we do eating or breathing. The Bible tells us to "pray without ceasing". I know it would be difficult to pray every second of every day, but you should have a little chat with God every time you have a free moment throughout the day. You should at least begin and end your day with prayer. "Pray without ceasing" means you should never just give up on prayer. Keep doing it, even when hard times fall.
And yes, on your knees is best whenever physically possible.

Yes, there is a right way to pray. The way that makes you most comfortable. Those prayers are your conversations with God. So if your in the middle of weeding your garden and you feel the need to pray, then do so. I don't think God listens any less if you stand, kneel or lay down. What ever makes you feel closer to God is fine.

Does Jehovah listen to all prayers? Consider what he told rebellious Israelites in the days of the prophet Isaiah: “Even though you make many prayers, I am not listening; with bloodshed your very hands have become filled.” (Isaiah 1:15) So certain actions can cause God not to listen to our prayers. For our prayers to be favorably heard by God, therefore, we must meet some basic requirements.
A primary requirement is that we exercise faith. (Mark 11:24) The apostle Paul wrote: “Without faith it is impossible to please [God] well, for he that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him.” (Hebrews 11:6) Having true faith is more than merely knowing that God exists and that he hears and answers prayers. Faith is proved by our actions. We must give clear evidence that we have faith by the way we live every day.—James 2:26.
Jehovah also requires that those who approach him in prayer do so with humility and sincerity. Do we not have reason to be humble when speaking to Jehovah? When people have the opportunity to speak to a king or a president, they usually do so respectfully, acknowledging the ruler’s high position. How much more so should we be respectful when approaching Jehovah! (Psalm 138:6) After all, he is “God Almighty.” (Genesis 17:1) When we pray to God, the manner in which we approach him should show that we humbly recognize our position before him. Such humility will also move us to pray from our heart in sincerity, avoiding routine, repetitive prayers.—Matthew 6:7, 8.
Another requirement for being heard by God is that we act in harmony with our prayers. Jehovah expects us to do all that is within our power to work at what we pray for. For example, if we pray, “Give us today our bread for this day,” we must work hard at whatever available job we are able to perform. (Matthew 6:11; 2Â Thessalonians 3:10) If we pray for help in overcoming a fleshly weakness, we must be careful to avoid circumstances and situations that could lead us into temptation. (Colossians 3:5) In addition to these basic requirements, there are questions about prayer that we need to have answered.

Yes I believe there is, since prayer obviously shouldn't be the same as any commonplace practices, but set apart from other routine practices, because it with God, and if God doesn't deserve our full attention and respect, who does?
I wouldn't go so far to say that standing up or keeping one's hands relaxed is a sin, but we certainly should talk to God in a more respectful manner than how we talk to our family and friends.

Pray the way Jesus taught us, and you can't go wrong.
The Lord's Prayer is the perfect prayer, recommended by the perfect man, who is also God.
Pray with a clean heart.
Pray without ceasing.
Pray with confidence.
Pray along with others.
Pray for wisdom.

Try praying 5 times a day EVERY day in the Church..are you up for that? or maybe you can just stick to going to Church once a week only, and between visits to the Church you can go to strip clubs and casinos.

Pray however you want, if kneeling makes you happy then do that.
God knows what you want anyway, since He does know everything you are thinking, so it is largely an exercise in futility. So do whatever makes you feel most fulfilled.
Maybe ask Him next time you are talking with Him, why He hates amputees so much.

No there isn't a proper way to do it. You can pray anywhere at any time. At least you are doing it. Good question.

That is fine for you. But, as I Jew, I will bow my head to G-d, and that is all that is asked. Muslims prostrate themselves on the floor/ground. Different people have different ways of doing things. So, there is no one ''right'' way to pray.
As long as the heart is with G-d, that is what matters.

The position your in doesnt matter
but according to the Bible, you should enter in with thanksgiving and praise
Dont just start with God help me or whatever you want
Start by praising God and giving Him thanks
Then after that you can start to ask for whatever it is you want or need.
And its good to end with praise as well.
