give me a break and shut up ,our troops in iraq are not defending anybody they are making our security WORSE. why is it that whenever anyone criticises the soldiers the reaction is to say you are so bad but they are so good they are defending you.
why is there an assumption that no matter how bad things are in iraq somehow our troops are making it better.they are not making ANYTHING better, they are not stabilising ANYTHING or protecting ANYBODY.so if you support them WHAT are you supporting?maybee it just helps emotionally to think SOMETHING must be good? well not for me.
I dont fear iraquis and i dont believe terrorists are trying to kill me. im not just against bush im against our whole army and im not ashamed of it.its useless and its pathetic and its harmfull.

the adult adult males and ladies squaddies defended out Freedom the government exceeded over shape they engaged in a unlawful unconstitutional warfare. until Congress proclaims warfare we are actually not at warfare. Congress in no way declared warfare. So what we get is a President with the flexibility to get rid of our civil liberties without the peoples authority. they set the point to keep away from the form they swore to guard they secure the militia commercial complicated and SPIT on the peoples freedom whilst they Sidestepped what we are, the form. Now what we've is a wide-unfold militia commercial complicated that makes Billions of greenbacks a three hundred and sixty 5 days at our cost. Eisenhower warned us against it. we've it they have sidestepped our freedom the government that did this are criminals./ they did not shelter our freedom. the warriors that DIED they have been there to shelter our freedom and that they served with honor OUR goverment did not HONOR there scarifice whilst they desperate to sidesteped the form.

Hey, if you think it's better in Iraq, go live there. I support our troops because they are doing the job they were given and are willing to die because the President, with the backing of the Congress, told our military to go to war. Do you forget the people who died on 9/11 so soon?

That's in my opinion a hard question to answer, the war in the middle east is a big problem. I think the Government thinks that if we are currently at war, the world can call us agreesive. But, if the troops were to be sent out of the middle east, the Muslims, and the middle easterners are, and may be at liberty to attack us.
We are at war. Think, don't they have weapons in the middle east? Iraq? Iran? the UN suspect that they are hiding nuclear weapons. They are trying to do something about it.

To defend freedom:
Cut spending in DoD to accomodate just special forces (Seals, etc.)
Funnel more money to CIA, National Guard, Coast Guard.

We are trying to protect their democracy that we help put in place, and we are trying to keep the insurgents from taking their FREEDOM. And in turn, we want to stabilize Iraq for a safer Middle East and world. Protecting our freedom.

You're welcome.

My sacrifices (and those of my brothers & sisters) have ensured that you have the right to make such statements, as uninformed as they are. The military does not make policy; they execute orders. To blame them (as a whole) for the current situation is misguided. And since you have not served in the military, have not been to the region, and have no personal experience, and have only second-hand information, I don't think you are qualified to make a definitive statement about the situation, in particular whether or not their presence is doing any good.

But while I don't think you are qualified to make such a statement, I respect your right to your opinion. And I and glad you choose to express it. Because whether you like it or not, men like me have protected the rights of men like you. Every critical word out of your mouth is like music to my ears. It is a validation of my years of service.

why are you beating on hte troops? It's their job. They did not give the order to go to Iraq. They were told to go and that is why they are there.
