private school rather than public school? How much would a person wanting his children to attend need to expect to pay in tuition? I understand it is somewhat adjusted for number of children and family income, but what is the normal, base tuition? Thank you for helping.

Yep, I'm in private school.

I don't know exactly how much yearly tuition is on average, but it's quite a lot. Something in the tens of thousands of dollars, I think.

I am orthodox, and I know the median Jewish day school tuition is about $5,000 per year for K-8. High school tuition is a bit higher.
