97 Ford Explorer-How do you remove the pulley from the crankshaft without....?

a gear puller??? Got the bolt off and now need to take the pulley off. Husband is trying, not having luck. Ideas???

I work in a garage, and even with the gear its sometimes very hard to get off. you have to have the proper gear to get the pulley off without damaging it.

Try getting it very cold, with dry ice or something.
