i feel embrassed cos i do nto have a car when men ask me if i drive and i have had a few ask me if i own my own house or rent it. I dont, care if someone has alot of things or not, as long as they are a nice person. I do feel embrassed if i have to say no i do not. I wish i was more confidant and was not embrassed. some of my friends catch the bus and they dont, care if they dont, drive. I haate being judged cos i am a nice person. I have my grandchildren living with me so i cannot work full time. I do feel embrassed and would like more. teh last blok i dated called me an unemployed layabout and i was hurt alot by that. Its made me very weary. I wonder if anyone is going to accept me.

I can relate to that - here is a wee story - I am not what you would call Poor lets just say I am comfortable but I did grow up in a Glasgow Ghetto...A couple of months ago I did an experiment - I used public transport for a fortnight.. I live on the outskirts of Glasgow... and I travelled into the City Centre by Bus & by Train.. It was a nightmare - but what bothered me most - no not the getting up earlier and arriving home later... It was the look's from people in Cars as they drove past the Bus stop..and the strange looks from people when I told them I had a Bus/Train to catch... Dont let snooty idiots get you down... live your life - and be happy.. if no-one wants you for who you are - then F' them...

Personal possessions ,looks and all the rest don't count for me it's the person inside that matter's and if people can't accept that then they are not worth calling friend's, i am a long way past caring what people think , with me what you see is what you get and if they don't like me it's their loss not mine , so be proud of yourself your a star in your own right !

It doesnt matter what people think of you. I dont care what people think of me because not everyone thinks the same so someone will be thinking what I want people to think of me. Just being you should be enough for anyone not what possessions they own

what you have material possessions-wise doesnt matter, and those who think it does arent worth your time. good people will accept you for who you are but good people are hard to find sometimes. just be yourself and keep smiling- everything will turn out alright. best wishes!:)
