I have a sharp pain in my chest every once in a while. It is around my heart area and it is really painful. When it happens it feels like someone is stabbing me then I kind of push on that area and breath in hard and hold my breath a couple of times until it goes away. And the second it goes away it feels like a big popping feeling in that area then I'm fine after that. I don't know if it is something with my heart or my lungs, I have no idea. What could it be??? Thank You!!!

I have felt that before, and yes it is very pain-full. I don't know where it's from or any thing, but it always goes away, so I don't think it;s harmful, just painful. If it goes on for much longer, take some Tylenol, or something like that.

I get it once in a while and consider it to be a "stitch". It's agonising, isn't it. I've never had it checked out, but I've been getting it for years - might be worth you getting it checked out, though!

Sounds like Gas, or as my grandma would say "you got the vapors"
