According to shows I have watched, Area 51 is a military base where they test experimental air craft. Some people believe that those crafts are of alien origins.

the secrets that use to be there are no longer. they picked up and moved all the secrets to another base. don't believe me,...find area 51 on google earth, you'll notice it's no longer blacked out!!!

lots of test equiptment for future aircraft and electronic stuff, the popular press has blown the rest out of proportion because the govt wont let them in on nat`l secrets. the part about ufos is all bs, inspected the whole place nothing there but snakes and scorpions in the 60s & 70s lots of test air frames for nasa

Even those who work there have limited access. They are restricted to their own areas and that is it. Very few know about the complete picture of what goes on in there.

I could tell you, but then...ah heck, you know the rest. They aren't telling, in fact, you can't get within 5 miles of the fence or gate that surrounds the place. Pretty exciting stuff in there I bet, I'd love to get a peek.
