Create address labels with your name, address, phone number and wedding date. Many vendors have cards for people to request additional information or drawings for prizes. Also, bring a tote bag or other receptacle to hold brochures and other information so you can leave your hands free.

Bring an open mind, maybe a notepad for ideas, and a bag to collect business cards and brochures and catalogs and such. Some vendors might give freebies too. Be prepared to fill out a lot of information cards; but be selective, only go to the vendors that caught your attention or you'll be getting a lot of mail in the next few weeks!
Ask a family member or friend to come with you so you can have another person's opinion on the vendor, the decor and such.
It'll also be helpful if you have a rough idea on what type of wedding you want to have; date, theme, THE DRESS, location, guest count etc. So this way you can ask all kinds of questions you have.
Good luck and have fun!

1. Whomever you are relying on to help you make decsions
2. Address lables with you name address phone and email - there will be 100s of free drawings, but you have to fill out all the cards.
3. A backpack. You'll want to empty your totebag (weather you bring one or use the ones they give you ) periodically as it gets heavy into somethinge easy to carry, but you'll want to be able to quickly drop items into your totebag w/o having to take it off & open it up everytime and the tote bags they give you sometimes are difficult to carry
4. Don't laugh - but a "fanny pack" or whatever (maybe more stylish) hands-free purse. Just bring your credit card, check book, ID.
5. Cell phones for each member of your group so you can divide & conquer and regroup.
6. A notebook & pen for each member of your group. You can even have one (or more) digital camera to take pictures of things you want to remember.
7. You may also want to wear something you can try a dress on in a farily public location (tight gym shorts & tank top, etc.)
8. Do research (and bring it) on the going rates in your area for services so you can tell if these "Bridal Fair deals" are good or not and so you are prepared for on the spot deals-
*** You may even want to plan on attending two bridal fairs- one to do researach and the next one to take advantage of "Bridal Fair" deals***
GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN

1. Yourself
2. Friend , mom, or your fiance(mine went so yes some do)only one of these people with you too much advice not good!
3.Your checkbook you can book people on site
4.If there is a wedding dress sale you may want to bring your bra so you can see how stuff works on you. I remember from one of your other questions you were worried about a dress.
5.A book to take notes.
Now have fun don't bring much else as they will give you a bag and everyone will be handing you stuff to take home. And of course you want to be able to haul out the prizes you are going to win! I use to love going to these shows but, tghey can get boring.

Take a pen and some paper...you'll need to write down notes for yourself, like which vendors you liked and why. You can come up with some great ideas at shows, so keep your eyes peeled. It could something as small as a lace detail in a dress that turns into a wedding theme.
Also note what you do or don't like about some vendors...their attentiveness, or lack of...their product...quality of food (caterers and bakers)...etc.

RETURN ADDRESS STICKERS - I highly these. If you don't have them, print labels (buy at Staples or Office Depot for a few dollars) on your computer with your name, address, phone # and wedding date. I made the mistake of not doing that at my first show and spent the entire time filling out information cards.
LIST OF OUTSTANDING SERVICES NEEDED - You may want to make a list of the outstanding vendors/ services/ products that you are looking for so that you can focus on what you need rather than aimlessly wandering. These things can be a bit overwhelming!

Magazine ideas, color ideas and your mom and bridal party. They can help out choosing stuff and tasting cake samples. Have some sort of idea what you need to get yet, make a list and see what you want. If you have an idea about what flower, maybe you will see a great arrangement. Try to plan ahead.

Have in mind what services you still need to take care of. Be careful of what your put your phone number/e-mail address on. Even though we ALL want to win free honeymoons to the Bahamas and $1000 shopping sprees, a lot of those places are just going to sell your info and you will get a lot of crap calls and e-mails afterwards.
