WHY Does a 12 year old need to loose weight?
You should be at 2000 calories a day minuim of a balanced food intake. Eat good food and just work out and lean up those muscles.
The way a body grows- you store up the fat then you rest and grow. You can seriously- I MEAN IT- can really screw up your body By starving, or reducing the calcuim, protein and carbs in your food plan. They feed your brain.
Stop it!

Do not try to lose weight at your age, you are 12. It is great to exercise, and smart to watch your diet; but by no means should you be calorie counting.
Unless you are morbidly obese, you run the risk of stunting your growth. The fact you are only trying to lose 10-12 pounds makes me think this is not the case.
Remember, the 10-12 pounds you are trying to lose could very well be your body preparing for a growth spurt. If you want to grow taller, you need to be nourished.
However, if this really is a problem, speak to a doctor. He/she will be able to determine if you need to lose the weight and the safest way to do it.

Ur determination is significant and u will loose ur weight very quickly, may be in 2 months. in spite of the undeniable fact that it is not ideal to achieve this, as u will benefit it lower back as quickly once u change lower back to ur commonplace food routine. Please devour nourishing food with an excellent type of unpolluted end result and vegetables being portion of it. chew each morsel a minimum of 32 cases. this can activate signal to the mind once u have had adequate. besides this change in ingesting style, take conventional gentle routines and brisk walks daily. a healthy weight loss rate is 1-2 pounds per week, so that comes out to 6-12 weeks. losing weight drastically will not yield lasting or easily sustainable results, so, if you have consulted iwth your parents or physician to conclude a healthy plan, just stick with it. it's a journey not a race. have fun with it.

Probably about 4 weeks.
However, you should first consult your doctor before beginning this plan. It isn't safe for someone your age to cut so many calories--it could interfere with your growth and your process of sexual maturation.
